Product Name: BDP
Chemical Name: Bisphenol-A bis(diphenyl phosphate)
Formula: C39H34O8P2
Molecular Weight: 692.63
CAS No.: 5945-33-5
APPLICATIONS
BDP is used as flame retardant for high dense polymers, especially engineering plastics. The performance of BDP on PC/ABS material is as good as the brominated flame retardant. 18 – 21% usage is able to help achieve UL 94 V-0 level. It is also broadly used in MPPO, polyester fibers and polyester resin industries.
BENEFITS & FEATURES
BDP has relatively low volatility and excellent hydrolytic stability. Furthermore, BDP is very stable under high processing temperature environment, a very reliable choice as non-halogen flame retardant for plastics.
